1. What information do we collect?

In short: We collect only what you send us yourself.

Information you give us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer you.

The app. AR BOOK TOYS: Amazing Animals has no user accounts and asks for no personal details. It does not collect your name, email address, location, or contacts, and it contains no advertising.

Camera. The app asks for camera permission. The camera is used only to recognise the printed pages of the colouring book. The image is processed on your device in real time — it is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your device settings.

Your paintings are saved to your device's own storage and are never uploaded.

Third-party components. The app is built with Unity and the Vuforia engine, and runs on Apple and Google platform services. These may collect technical data of their own — see section 4.

2. How do we process your information?

In short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

• To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may process your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the requested service.
• To send administrative information to you. We may process your information to send you details about our products and services, changes to our terms and policies, and other similar information.

Vendors, Consultants, and Other Third-Party Service Providers. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will also not share your personal information with any organization apart from us. They also commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct. The third parties we may share personal information with are as follows:

• Apple Media Services

• Vuforia

About the camera and Vuforia. The app uses the Vuforia engine to recognise and track the printed pages of the colouring book through your device's camera. This happens entirely on your device: the camera image is processed locally, in real time, and is never uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere. The app does not use Vuforia Cloud Recognition (cloud-based image recognition), nor the Model Target and Area Target features. Your paintings are saved only on your own device.

The app also incorporates the Unity framework, Google Play Services (on Android devices), and Apple Media Services (on iOS devices) to provide certain functionalities and services. These frameworks and services may collect derivative data as outlined in their respective privacy policies.

• Unity: The Unity framework may collect certain derivative data, such as device information, IP address, usage statistics, and crash reports, for the purpose of optimizing app performance, debugging, and improving user experience. For more information, please refer to Unity's privacy policy.
• Google Play Services: When the app is installed on an Android device, Google Play Services may collect derivative data, including but not limited to device information and usage data, as outlined in Google's privacy policy. This data is collected to support app functionalities such as app distribution and updates.
• Apple Media Services: When the app is installed on an iOS device, Apple Services may collect derivative data, such as device information, usage data, and app performance metrics, as specified in Apple's privacy policy. This data may be used for app functionality, performance optimization, and security purposes.

Please note that the collection and processing of derivative data by Unity, Google Play Services, and Apple services are governed by their respective privacy policies. In short: Our website uses no tracking cookies, and the app uses none at all.

Our website does not use analytics, advertising, or other tracking cookies, and the mobile app does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. Should this change in the future, we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Our website is hosted in Hungary (European Union) by Websupport Magyarország Kft. We do not transfer personal information outside the European Economic Area ourselves. The third-party components listed in section 4 (Unity, Vuforia, Apple and Google platform services) are operated by their own providers and may process technical data outside the EEA under their own privacy policies and safeguards.

7. How long do we keep your information?

In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

In short: The app is designed for family use and collects no personal information from children.

The AR BOOK TOYS: Amazing Animals app is intended for children aged 3 and over, used together with a parent or guardian. The app contains no advertising, no in-app purchases, no user accounts, and no social features. It does not ask for a name, an email address, a photograph, or any other personal detail, and it does not collect personal information from children.

The camera is used only to recognise the printed pages of the colouring book, and the camera image is processed on the device in real time. It is not recorded, stored, or transmitted. Paintings created in the app are saved to the device's own storage.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@arbooktoys.com and we will delete it.

11. Controls for do-not-track features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

In short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
