Please Note: The app uses the Vuforia engine solely for the purpose of reading and tracking images, and as a result, only the relevant portions of the privacy policy mentioned above are incorporated and applied within the app. It is important to note that the app does not utilize Vuforia Cloud Recognition, which refers to the feature of Vuforia that allows image recognition to be performed in the cloud. Additionally, the app does not make use of the Model Target and Area Target features provided by Vuforia.
By solely utilizing the image reading and tracking capabilities of the Vuforia engine, the app ensures that the privacy policy provisions outlined in the aforementioned privacy policy are specifically applied within the app environment. Therefore, users can rest assured that the data handling practices, user rights, and data protection measures stated in the privacy policy are applicable and followed when it comes to the usage of the Vuforia engine within the app.
Additionally, it is important to acknowledge that the app incorporates the Unity framework, Google Play Services (for Android devices), and Apple Media Services (for iOS devices) to provide certain functionalities and services. These frameworks and services may collect derivative data as outlined in their respective privacy policies.
Unity: The Unity framework may collect certain derivative data, such as device information, IP address, usage statistics, and crash reports, for the purpose of optimizing app performance, debugging, and improving user experience. For more information, please refer to Unity’s privacy policy.
Google Play Services: When the app is installed on an Android device, Google Play Services may collect derivative data, including but not limited to device information, usage data, and location information, as outlined in Google’s privacy policy. This data is collected to support various app functionalities, such as app updates, personalized services, and location-based features.
Apple Media Services: When the app is installed on an iOS device, Apple Services may collect derivative data, such as device information, usage data, and app performance metrics, as specified in Apple’s privacy policy. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.
